Yummy Yorkshire was born when we began to make delicious artisan ice cream here on our family dairy farm. Nestled in the heart of the Pennine Yorkshire countryside, with a farming heritage handed down through generations of the Holmes family. Over the years, we've grown to include a farm restaurant and ice cream parlour on-site, with our makers market in the barn, and craft workshops throughout the year. We'd love you to pop up!
The Hide & Hoof is our farm restaurant. Filled with rustic charm, you'll find both Yorkshire classics, and new and inventive dishes to enjoy throughout the day. Open from breakfast to late afternoon, our talented chefs have created a menu with something for everyone. We even do afternoon tea, for that udderly special experience! Known for our ice cream, our parlour is the place to be! With twenty artisan flavours scooping at any one time, from classics like our salted caramel, to new and quirky flavours like pineapple, peach & chilli! There's a scoop for everyone, as well as sundaes, waffles, bakes, barista coffee, and take-home tubs. No trip to Yummy would be complete without a scoop!
Our makers market pops up in the barn every right through our market season here on the farm! Inviting over thirty independent small traders and their wonderful wares. With everything from artwork to jewellery, artisan bakes to children's clothing, handmade lamps, gifts, homewares, woodwork, and so, so much more! It's the perfect place for a wander around with a cone in hand!
