We are chuffed to bits to announce that Yummy Yorkshire co-founder Louise Holmes has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Forward Ladies 2013 Women in Business Awards for Yorkshire and the North East.
Louise has been shortlisted in the Manufacturing Business Woman of the Year category for the second year in a row.
The Women in Business Awards were launched in 2010 by the 11,000-strong networking organisation Forward Ladies, which has a group covering Kirklees and Calderdale.
The awards recognise the achievements of professional business women in Yorkshire and the North East and comprise of 12 individual categories as well as an overall Business Woman of the Year award.
According to the organisers of the awards, the standard of the 2013 entries was extremely high. The winners will be announced in an awards launch at The Queens Hotel in Leeds on 15 November.
Speaking about her award nomination Louise said: “I am delighted to have been shortlisted for the Manufacturing Business Woman of the Year category for the second year running. It is a huge honour and a testament to the hard work of the entire team here at Yummy Yorkshire.”
