We have lots of events planned for all the family to enjoy. Take a look what we have on over Spring Bank here…
Milking Live Experience
26th & 27th May, 3pm-4:30pm
If you’d like to show your children exactly where their milk comes from, pull on your wellies and see some of the Yummy Yorkshire dairy cows being milked, by chief herdsman Rob!
While we aren’t able to provide the traditional hand-milking experience, we are opening the doors to our milking parlour on the 26th and 27th May to show you what happens during the process and explain how the milk gets from cow to bottle.
Meet Camilla and Friends
28th, 29th and 30th May, 4pm
Meet our chief stocksman Steve at 4pm in the Barn every day and say hello to some of the Yummy Yorkshire cows.
You’ll learn something about the herd, get the chance to feed our newest additions and may even catch a glimpse of Camilla, the Yummy Yorkshire mascot, herself!
This is a free event but any donations to ‘Sam’s Wish to Walk’ to help Steve’s son Sam to have a life-changing operation, would be greatly received.
29th May, 12-4pm
Create your very own animal mask from recycled materials in this free interactive workshop hosted by the fairandfunky team from the neighbouring Holme Valley.
All fairandfunky workshops are suitable for the whole family and encourage children to think about the world around them in imaginative, enjoyable arts projects with the freedom to be creative and get messy!
Drop in to this SCRAPtastic workshop between 12-4pm in the marquee and get creative.
1st June, 10am-4pm
Back by popular demand, Moorland Falconry will be on the farm from 10am-4pm with their beautiful British birds of prey and owls.
Come along to see them close up on their perches as well as soaring the skies in an aerial display (weather permitting) in the top field.
This is a free event but donations to Sam’s Wish to Walk will be greatly received.
P.S The Play Barn, Dinky Den, bouncy castle and garden will be open for all Spring Bank week for everyone to enjoy! If the weather is good why not enjoy a Yummy Yorkshire picnic hamper in our garden.
